The Lost River in white python is a sexy, contoured motorcycle jacket for which the girl with the dragon tattoo would be tempted to kill. Collar and lapel are separated by a notch that struggles for attention with the multiple zippers and fashion-forward zipper pulls; but there can be no doubt that zippers and pulls win hands down. On the sleeves, they run full-length from the bottom to the cap-shoulder top; and on the front closure, they cruise, two-way style, from the jacket bottom to the very top of the lapel, loosening it from the hidden magnet that secures it, so it can cinch snug around the neck. The slanted chest and side pockets have their own zipper and pull, as do the collar back and small flap-pocket with its own concealed magnet anchor. Ultra-soft mauve micro-quilting lines jacket and pockets, adding a sporty alpine ambiance and complementing the two, tiny mauve stitches near the top of each pull. It’s classic Robert Comstock, and he hand-signs each dramatic python masterpiece.
