The Naiponi is a hooded one-hundred percent pure cashmere pullover that features a series of raised welt and cable knits. The 3-gauge cable pattern runs up the sweater front and down its back with a stop along the way to leave a track or two on the hood, while at steeply pitched angles and from either side, the raised welts climb towards one another until they reach the sweater seams, where their journey ends.
In 2018 The Peregrine Fund began the Coexistence Co-Op, a collaborative project with Lion Landscapes to reduce poisoning and the human-predator conflict that triggers it. We conduct community-based coexistence trainings to raise awareness about the dangers of poisoning and to teach locals how to build predator-proof bomas (corrals). One of our trainees helped to save a girl’s life when poison meant for retaliation for predators was used to attempt suicide. Your purchase is supporting training that saves wildlife and human lives.
