A week-long workshop to improve forensic capacity in wildlife toxicology was recently held for laboratory technicians, field-based veterinarians, and Kenya Wildlife Service officers. This improves forensic capacity to detect poison in wildlife samples as well as prepare trainees to properly collect, store, and transport poisoned wildlife samples. Trainees are also taught how to provide emergency treatment for poisoned vultures that are still alive. Your purchase will help to support important training workshops like this.
